Katerina Sokolovskaya’s practice explores sculpture through bodily perception and material transformation. She works with tactile forms, using materials such as plaster, silicone, and ceramic.

She approaches sculpture as a responsive form rather than a fixed object. Casting and molding allow materials to change through contact with the body or surrounding space. The resulting forms remain abstract while retaining a sense of corporeality.

Her work considers bodies and environments as interconnected systems that continuously shape one another. This perspective extends to ecological relationships, where boundaries between the living and material world are porous and constantly shifting.
